Pyramind and Ableton proudly announce an exclusive one-night-only event in San Francisco, “An Evening With Pitch Black.”
Pitch Black are award winning multimedia artist Michael Hodgson and producer Paddy Free. Having pumped their way through the electronic music scene since their inaugural performance at the international Gathering New Year's Eve festival in 1997, they have spent the last twelve years rousing dance floors, generating rave reviews, winning awards, and gaining thousands of fans across the world with their distinctive sound.
Fusing organic ambiences and layered soundscapes with skanking keyboards, cutting acid riffs and thumping rhythmic grooves, and using as dub the glue that holds it all together, one leading critic has described them as "Orbital meets King Tubby.”
Coming up on Thursday June 18th at 7PM, they’ll be at Pyramind for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how they put together their live show, which features not only a musical performance but a visual aspect creating a totally immersive experience.
